Outdoor Activities First Aid
For those people who enjoy outdoor activities, we enable you to deal with a specific type of accident that can occur in less than practical surroundings. This course will suit those operating off the beaten track or those who are engaging in outdoor sports.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements. ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
Outdoor Pursuits 16 Hour First Aid
Outdoor Pursuits 16 Hour first Aid covers primary and secondary care and is adapted to the outdoors where the emergency services may find it harder to access. We also offer a shorter course if that is all you require or other specific workplace courses.
This 16 hour course over 3 days, can be taken as a classroom course, in a specific training location or if you have a group of people wanting to train together, we will come to you.
Activity First Aid Level 2
The purpose of the Activity First Aid Level 2 qualification is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding of first aid to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, illness and injuries sustained in an activity environment. This is achieved through the understanding of the general duties, responsibilities and treatment principles of first aid.
This course is taught over two days with a minimum contact time of 12 hours as a class course or blended with online training. All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.
Basic First Aid For Horse Riders
This one day course is aimed at horse riders wanting to learn basic first aid skills to keep them safe. Horse riding can present different dangers and the course covers the injuries that you are likely to come across. We also have a 3 day Equestrian First Aid at work (HSE Compliant) for those who need a higher qualification to meet the British Horse Society (BHS) requirements.
This course could be adapted to work with all outdoor pursuits. The course is valid for one year, and last about 4 hours. This training complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
