Moving and Positioning

Moving and Assisting Awareness

This is a shorter version of our full course. We recommend that you take our level 2 course rather than this course if you work in any care environment. This course does NOT include practical hoist exercises nor as much practical training as it is just aimed as an awareness course, increasing knowledge in moving techniques rather than practical experience

Moving and Assisting Level 2

This course is ideal for all workplace requirements, as it includes safer moving and positioning of people as well as manual handling of objects. The course is designed to meet the requirements and recommendations of the HSE Manual Handling Regulations 1992 as well as other relevant regulations and guidelines. It also includes a module on slips, trips and falls.

Infection Control

This basic infection control course is designed for people who do not work in the healthcare sector but are still at risk from coming into contact with body fluid that could pose a risk. There are many businesses, occupations, schools and hobbies, that could put people at risk of contracting an infection. We also offer specific infection control courses to cater to healthcare professionals, dentists and many other industries.

Food Hygiene

Food Safety Level 1

Our Food Hygiene / Food Safety level one course is designed to meet the foundation level requirements of various food sector regulations. The course covers food preparation, storage, risk of infection, cross-contamination, PPE, date marks, reporting illness and basic first aid/health and safety in the kitchen.

Food Safety Level 2

Our ever popular Food Hygiene level two course covers is designed to meet all requirements of the various regulations in food preparation, HACCP and health and safety. 

The course covers preparation, storage, risk of infection, cross-contamination, reporting, PE, date marks, reporting illness and basic first aid in the kitchen.

Diet, Nutrition & Hydration

This course aims to promote awareness of the importance of diet, nutrition and hydration.  By the end of the course candidates will be able to identify the changes in nutritional  needs at different life stages, be aware of  legislative requirements and obligations and understand what is needed to achieve a balanced diet.
